Build a Full Website using WordPress

Now we will create a will create a full web-site that is attractive and user friendly using a free content management system, WordPress

We will accomplish it by completing each task in the project:

Task 1: Set up a New Site for Development in Wordpress. In this task, we will set up a website for development with a blog. We will complete the first three items of the site set up checklist.

Task 2: Update Homepage Settings and Edit Content. In this task, we will finish the site set up checklist by updating and editing the site homepage.

Task 3: Edit the Homepage. In this task we will continue to edit the homepage.

Task 4: Add and Link Secondary Webpages. In this task, we will begin to add subpages to our website. We will also link pages together within the website.

Task 5: Edit and Publish Webpages and Blogposts. In this task, we will begin to order and edit the other pages that have already been created. We will also create a test blog post for publishing so that it appears on the homepage.

Task 6: Embed Links. In this task, we will edit the About page and add a link back to the home page in the text.

Task 7: Add Social Media Buttons. In this task, we will touch up our contact page and make sure all pages are linked to the appropriate page on the website.
